Thanks to her parents’ love and support for music, Neha started training at a very young age and by the time she blossomed into a young lady, she had a distinct vision of what she wanted to do in the field of music.

Her focus in life is simple. Service to music has the topmost priority. According to her, winning a particular prize or standing first or second in a competition is not important. What is more important is how you performed. If your performance carved a place in the hearts of the listeners, it is more than enough.

She reminisces that she never won in film-song competitions held at college but after one of her performances, the judge Hon. Asmita Chinchalkar personally congratulated her for her wonderful voice and gifted a pen to her. Such moments shaped her determination to keep excelling in the field of music.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa competition by Zee Marathi was a turning point. Light music was never Neha’s passion but the guidance that she got from Anand Modak due to the competition is a life-time asset for her. After getting eliminated, when she expressed that classical music was her true love; Hon. Devaki Pandit hugged her and it meant a lot to her. Veteran actor Atul Parchure told her personally that his daughter loved her singing so much that she stopped watching the show when Neha was eliminated. These certificates from her fans are testimony to her amazing singing. The show was over more than a decade ago but people still remember her songs.

Right from childhood till today, Neha has been a sincere student, a vibrant performer and a humble,dedicated musician.
